$8.25 Million Settlement For Medical Malpractice Suit

Dudley & Lake settled a case in the amount of $8,250,000 against a Chicago hospital arising out of negligence resulting in a child suffering lack of oxygen and subsequent brain damage during labor and delivery. The parties to the settlement are restricted due to confidentiality provisions, but the settlement was reported by Chicago Lawyer magazine to be in the top 15 legal settlements reported during 2008.
