$475,000 Settlement In Dog Attack

Daniel Smart recovered a $475,000 settlement on behalf of a 61-year-old male who was bitten by a dog while he was conducting a land survey. The plaintiff was attacked by the dog in the driveway of the defendant’s home after the dog escaped from the house. He sustained multiple puncture and bite wounds to his calves and lower back. The attack also resulted in injuries to both of the plaintiff’s knees, requiring arthroscopic surgeries.
