$2.2 Million Global Settlement Against Chicagoland Hospital Following The Placement Of A Pacemaker

Matt Dudley and Alex Campos were able to obtain a $2,200,000 global settlement against a Chicagoland hospital and physician group for the family of a 59-year-old who died following the placement of a pacemaker. The plaintiff alleged that the patient began to bleed unexpectedly during the pacemaker procedure and needed to be emergently treated by a cardiac surgeon, who was not timely contacted and who delayed in coming to evaluate the patient.
